REFLECTION

As the semester draws to a close, I have discerned that design communication stands out as the most pivotal module for aspiring architects. Throughout this course, I have witnessed significant improvement in my skills and attained a TGC 1.0 level of discipline-specific knowledge in professional architectural drawing. ITD has provided me with the essential tools and techniques required to draw proficiently as a future architect, furthering my journey towards becoming a competent professional in the field.

Additionally, I have come to realize the importance of confronting errors and difficulties rather than avoiding them. This course has taught me to cultivate mental strength and maintain a positive mindset, enabling me to tackle challenges with resilience and determination. As a result, I have achieved a TGC 2.0 level of problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative skills. Embracing these qualities has empowered me to effectively address diverse circumstances and find innovative solutions, positioning me to excel in my future endeavors as an architect.

Furthermore, I have recognized the immense value of effective communication among teammates. Cultivating the habit of open communication with friends and teammates has proven to be advantageous throughout this course and beyond. I have developed a natural ease in engaging with others, enabling seamless interactions without awkwardness. As a result, I have successfully attained a TGC 3.0 level of communication skills. This proficiency in communication enhances my ability to collaborate efficiently and fosters a conducive environment for constructive exchanges of ideas, making me well-equipped to thrive in future professional settings as an architect.

As this journey through the semester concludes, I am filled with profound gratitude for being a part of this enriching experience. The memories forged during this course, particularly the positive atmosphere fostered by our esteemed lecturers and tutors, are truly unforgettable. Despite my occasional tardiness to class, I have been fortunate to receive patient and friendly treatment from my lecturers and tutors. Their unwavering support and understanding have been instrumental in making this educational endeavor both enjoyable and rewarding.
